Strawberry Tours 2009 at Tanaka Farms

Catalina Island Flying Fish Festival
May 28-31: This four-day event welcomes the famed flying fish back to Catalina. Junior Lifeguard Tryouts in Long Beach
May 30: The city's Junior Lifeguard Program offers kids 9-17 the opportunity to receive instruction on lifeguard rescue technique, emergency first aid, marine ecology and the chance to serve their community. The six-week course also includes field trips and lifeguard competitions. Students must be able to swim 100 yards in less than 2 minutes to qualify. Scholarships available. May 30: Based on the popular and award-winning Handstand Kids Cookbook Series. This class will offer your child a hands-on, unique cooking experience.
