Annual 4th of July Celebration
An Independence Day full of events, starting with the Firecracker
5K/10K and ending with fireworks at Peralta Park. In between
you’ll find the Yankee Doodle Dog Show at 10:30 a.m.,
food and game booths from 12:30-8:45 p.m. and a parade at 3
p.m. Some events are free; donations accepted. Most events

Independence Day Celebration
Bring a picnic and enjoy sports tournaments, a fireworks show,
a chili cook-off and children’s games and entertainment.
Fireworks, 9-9:20 p.m. Admission and most activities are

Show
An old-fashioned festival featuring carnival games, rides,

Fourth of July Parade
The 104th anniversary of the largest Independence Day Parade
west of the Mississippi River! A great family event with
a hometown feel, featuring more than 300 parade entries,
including floats, high school marching bands, local VIPs,
equestrians and community groups. A vendor expo with artisans
and concessions is held on the pier in the days leading up
to the parade. Parking can be difficult, so arrive early.

Concert on the Green
and Fireworks Festival
A 4th
of July festival featuring fireworks, balloon jumpers, face
painting, live music, contests, concessions and food
vendors, plus a dedicated children’s game area. Friday,
gates open at 3 p.m.; fireworks, 9 p.m. $40 per family; adults,
$12; kids (13 and under), $7. Hosted by the Irvine Police

Wild Rivers Celebrates July 4th

An annual festival for the whole family, featuring a kid’s
carnival on the Marina Park Green and fireworks over the Queen

The Great American
4th of July Bike Parade
Every year, hundreds of local kids decorate their two-wheelers
and ride a mile out-and-back on the sunny beach boardwalk for
this old-fashioned parade. Cash prizes (and bragging rights)

Fireworks
Spectacular
An annual Independence Day festival featuring military vehicles
and aircraft exhibits, family fun zone with bounce houses and
carnival games and rides, roving entertainers, water polo game
featuring the USA women’s water polo team, live music from
the 40th Infantry Band, and an elaborate fireworks display and
military aircraft flyover. Lawn chairs and blankets encouraged;
no alcohol permitted. Gates open at 4 p.m.; fireworks start with
the flyover at 9 p.m. Sponsored by the cities of Los Alamitos,
Cypress and Seal Beach, the Rossmoor Community Services District
and the Joint Forces Training Base; located on the base. Free;
