KCRW’s PieFest returns on Pi Day with a sweet celebration dedicated entirely to pie. Hosted by KCRW Good Food host Evan Kleiman, the event brings together bakers, chefs, food lovers, and families for an afternoon of tastings, contests, and interactive activities.
Guests can explore a pie marketplace featuring more than 25 vendors, enjoy food trucks and a beer garden, watch professional baking demonstrations, and browse hundreds of pies entered in the competition. Visitors can view the entries in exhibition-style tents and vote for their favorites in several visual categories during the Pie Pageant.
The event also includes hands-on activities, cookbook signings, music from KCRW DJs, and a live finale with celebrity judges including Will Ferrell, Roy Choi, and other Los Angeles food personalities. Admission to the Autry Museum is free during the event, allowing guests to also explore the museum’s exhibitions.
